Birmingham Improv Comedy Jam: Come and play your favourite improv games, take part in improvised scenes, sketches and songs, or just sit back and watch the fun. Suitable for all levels of experience, including complete beginners. Hosted by resident guests, Box of Frogs, with a different improv group invited to entertain in the first half. This month’s group: Behind The Headlines.

Gorilla Burger: Theatre karaoke where you can be the star. Hugely supportive and tons of fun this is a delightful way for you to experience improvised comedy. At Gorilla Burger you can get up on stage whether you’ve played before or not.

Smash Night: Give your laughter muscles a work out with three great acts from Nottingham and beyond performing hilarious scenes and games for your amusement. Based on YOUR suggestions these funny performers will spontaneously create never to be seen again comedy sketches you won’t want to miss.
SAT 4TH – INTERNATIONAL ARTS CENTRE
Same Faces: After the least desirable 18 months off ever, Leicester’s best are delighted to be bringing you their unique blend of sketches, songs and one-liners once again. Expect brilliant comedy sketches live on stage, in the style of “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”.
WEDS 22ND – UPSTAIRS AT THE WESTERN
Improv Upstairs: A monthly showcase featuring guest sets from established improv troupes as well as a changing roster of local players. The Improv Upstairs Jam at the end of the night will pick people to take part at random – including audience members should you choose to put yourself forward.
THURS 2ND – NEWHAMPTON ARTS CENTRE, WOLVERHAMPTON
Seven Ages: Kevin Tomlinson stars in this completely improvised show which looks at the seven ages of man, using stories from the audience for inspiration.
MON 6TH – TEMPERANCE CAFE, LEAMINGTON SPA
The Elephant In The Room: Leamprov bring you a comedy show that’s never been seen before, and will never be seen again. Why? The elephant in the room is that they have no idea what the show will be about. A series of comedy sketches and games completely off-the-cuff taking inspiration from audience suggestions.
TUES 7TH – ROYAL & DERNGATE THEATRE, NORTHAMPTON
Austentatious: Performed in Regency costume with live musical accompaniment, discover a tale that Jane Austen never quite managed to tell. Join the all-star cast as they create a riotously funny new literary masterpiece, based on nothing more than a title suggested by the audience.
SUN 12TH – ROYAL & DERNGATE THEATRE, NORTHAMPTON
Any suggestions, Doctor?: The smash hit improvised parody in which audiences are whisked around the universe in brand new Doctor Who episodes made up entirely on the spot. Using charmingly daft props, eccentric plots and absurd characters, the show has been well received across the UK, and the accompaniment of live music adds a level of gravitas and grandeur.
SAT 25TH – THE BREWHOUSE, BURTON-ON-TRENT
ComedySportz: Manchester’s finest come down to the Midlands to create an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment. Expect songs, silliness and hilarious nonsense. Part of Comedy Club 4 Kids.
MON 27TH – THE BAND FACTORY, LEAMINGTON SPA
LeamProv: Come join in the fun with the Midlands newest group for their monthly improv jam, where the audience is invited to join the cast members on stage.
