Improvabunga – The Improvised Movie Adventure: In a world where movie plots are getting too predictable, one improv show dares to break the mould. You choose the genre, subgenre, the setting and the title and they will do the rest, creating a totally improvised show brimming with all your favourite tropes. Featuring live musical accompaniment and four audience buzzers used to control the performers.

Suitable for all levels of experience, including complete beginners. Hosted by resident guests, Box of Frogs, with a different improv group invited to entertain in the first half.

Improv NonSense – Women Of Improv: A celebration of women improvisers for International Women’s Day. MissImp proudly presents a showcase of spur of the moment comedy and theatre. Each performance of Improv Nonsense showcases different local and national stars of Improvised Theatre. You might see a series of duologues, a panoply of theatre games or just about anything else under the sun. One thing is certain. It’s all unscripted and guaranteed to be a one night only production.

Gorilla Burger: Theatre karaoke where you can be the star. Hugely supportive and tons of fun this is a delightful way for you to experience improvised comedy. At Gorilla Burger you can get up on stage whether you’ve played before or not.

Making It Up: Free show where the first half an hour is the class showcase, where they’ll be showing off all the stuff they’ve worked on this term under training from The Clones. After that will be an improv jam where anyone in the audience can give improv a go with fun games and scenes.

Rhymes Against Humanity: The Midlands’ highly acclaimed, award nominated, improvised musical. It’s a non-stop joyride of musical hilarity that’s all being created in the moment. Paul Merton’s Impro Chums: Paul Merton, Richard Vranch, Suki Webster, Mike McShane and accompanist Kirsty Newton are back on the road in 2022 to visit some of their favourite parts of the UK with another evening of mind-blowing improvisation. The collective improvisational experience embodied in the Chums is a joy to behold. They flex their improvisational muscles to delight and entertain audiences in this country and abroad.

Bumper Blyton: A riotous improvised parody chock full of innuendo and lashings of puns, in the style of the Nation’s favourite author, Enid Blyton. Cast yourself back to your childhood in a show that’s utterly unique and spontaneous with a satirical take on favourites including The Famous Five and Mallory Towers.
FRI 25TH – THE POMFRET ARMS, NORTHAMPTON
Improv Comedy Show: Two acts perform a free show with donations for Unicef in aid of Ukrainian children. Canny Funny are a team of some of the Midlands’ funniest improvisers, creating sketches, scenes and songs from your suggestions. Improvoke are the mash up of improv and karaoke you never knew you needed. Just turn up and join in the fun.
SUN 27TH – THEATRE SEVERN, SHREWSBURY
Bumper Blyton: Another chance to delight in lashings of ginger beer, grab a cheeky tongue sandwich or wrap your lips around a nice spotted dick! A cast of the UK’s best-known and award-winning improvisers (as seen in Austentatious, Showstoppers! and TV’s Doctor Who) invent a hilarious improvised adventure on the hoof, based on audience suggestions. Performed in vintage costume with music and songs, the show offers an irreverent tongue-in-cheek homage. It’s Enid Blyton…for grown-ups.

LeamProv: Come join in the fun with the Midlands newest group for their monthly improv jam, where the audience is invited to join the cast members on stage.

The Elephant In The Room: Leamprov, the premier improvised comedy troupe in Leamington, are proud to bring you a comedy show that’s never been seen before, and will never be seen again. Why? The elephant in the room is that we have no idea what the show will be about! Taking inspiration from audience suggestions, we will create a series of comedy sketches and games completely off-the-cuff.
